Writing
Creative non-fiction, cultural criticism, and art writing are at the center of Ryan-Ashley’s practice. She is currently working on a memoir about girlhood, illness, and belonging, concurrently with an autoethnographical CNF manuscript that exists at the intersection of pathography and ‘90s tabloid culture.
She has published in Farewell Transmission, X-R-A-Y, Rejection Letters, Carolina Quarterly, and others, and produces regularly for “The Deep End.” Links to select work below.
