Ryan-Ashley Anderson Maloney is a conceptual artist and writer from the rural South currently living in the Pacific Northwest. They serve as a board member for NYC’s non-profit, Refuge America, as co-founder and managing editor of Pool Party, and have published with X-R-A-Y, Rejection Letters, and Farewell Transmission, among others. Anderson takes an autoethnographic approach, excavating her personal narrative to explore ideas of temporality, grief, dislocation, and precarity within the context of our current cultural situation. Anderson is currently writing a memoir and pursuing dual masters degrees.
